Born in Livingston, Scott grew up in Parsippany before moving to Glen Gardner and eventually settling in Clinton, his obituary says.
Scott was a US Marine Corps Veteran and “loved being a Marine,” reads his memorial.
While he spent most of his career as the owner of an Environmental Health & Safety business, he also volunteered as a firefighter and EMT in several towns across the state and was a 9/11 first responder.
Above all, Scott was a dedicated father and husband and will forever be remembered for his endless kindness and generosity.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Kimberly Ann Hoffman Donnenberg; children, Zachary Donnenberg and wife Lynn and Jessica Donnenberg; a sister, Dr. Robyn Ferrante and husband Dr. Christopher Ferrante; niece, Amanda Ferrante; nephew, Andrew Ferrante; as well as many extended family members and close friends who will cherish his memory forever.
Scott’s memorial was scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon.
